Transitioning to a Winter Wardrobe In Virginia

DSC_0322The weather in Richmond, Va. is pretty phenomenal; we rarely experience the extremes of any of the four seasons here. It’s never disgustingly hot like it might be in the Deep South but it’s not arctic/frostbite cold like it can be in the north either. We get some bad storms here and there, but we avoid hurricanes altogether. It sometimes snows (and yes, we go into a panic that most northerners would laugh at) but we don’t have to worry about shoveling 10 feet of snowfall just to get out our front doors. Continue reading
